Charges

Our Prices are based on passengers being ready to travel at the booking time.

All prices are per vehicle.

All the prices given are for point to point. Any diversions or stops will be charged extra.

Cash payments should be made to the driver.

Credit card payments could be made to the driver only if it is noted on the booking of the transfer.

All our prices are in euros and include road tolls.

Waiting Time Charges

For all airport pickups, the maximum free waiting time is 45 minutes, starting from the flight landing actual time. Afterwards, there will be an additional charge of 25.00€ for every hour. There will not be any additional charges for delayed flights.

For all sea port pickups, the maximum free waiting time is 20 minutes, starting from the booked pick up time. Afterwards, there will be an additional charge of 25.00€ for every hour.

Pickups from home, hotel, offices and other venues, the maximum free waiting time is 20 minutes starting from the actual booked time. Afterwards, there will be an additional charge of 25.00€ for every hour.

Missed Flights

In the event of a missed flight, it is the passenger’s or booker’s responsibility to inform AthensTransfers immediately, so that we can inform the driver not to enter the airport for the pickup. If the journey was pre- paid, the fare will be refunded only if the cancellation has been made immediately, and after deducting 10.00€ for bank charges. However, if the passenger wishes to make a new booking for a later flight there will be no additional cost.

In a case of a failure to notify this to AthensTransfers, the passenger or booker will be liable to pay the full fare and if it is pre- paid, the fare will not be refunded.

Non Show

If the passenger failed to meet the driver on pick up time, including airport, seaport, home, hotel and any other private address, will be considered as ‘Non-Show’ case. This includes misleading information considering date or time of the bookings. Our driver will be waiting for up to 1 hour and 30 minutes from flight landing time at airports, and up to 30 minutes in any other case. If the passenger fails to meet the driver within this time or did not make any contact via phone, e-mail or SMS to inform AthensTransfers about their position at the airport or seaport, this will be considered as a ‘Non-show’ case.If passenger books a private hire car with us and failed to meet the driver on pick up time, this will include airport, seaport, home, hotel and other private address, will be considered as ‘Non-Show’. This will include incorrect date and time of the bookings. The driver will wait in the arrival hall up to 1 hour 30 minutes from flight landing time and if the passenger fails to meet the driver within this time limit or failed to make contact via phone, email or SMS to inform their status at the airport or seaport, this will be considered as a ‘Non-Show’case.

All bookings of ‘Non-Show’ cases regarding airports and seaport transfers will not be refunded and will be charged the full fare of transfer. For all other bookings regarding home, hotel, office or any other private address it will be 50% refund. Same conditions are applying to all pre-paid by credit or debit card bookings.

Refunds

Refund will be issued on the following conditions:

Cancellation must be notified 4 hours prior to the booked pick up time within Athens postcodes. For outer areas a 6 hours cancellation notification will be required.

In a case of a missed flight, the passenger must inform AthensTransfers immediately by phone, e-mail or sms so the refund could be claimed.

All refunds are subject to minimum fee of 10.00€ (bank charges)

Vehicle

It is the passenger’s or booker’s responsibility to ensure that they book the correct size of vehicle for the number of passengers and luggage.

The vehicle capacities are specified on the website of AthensTransfers.

If the passenger has booked a smaller vehicle than needed, the driver reserves the right to refuse to carry the passengers due to Safety and Health rules. Although the passenger is liable to pay the full charge to the driver.

The driver reserves the right to refuse our service due to passenger having excess luggage which could result in the vehicle being unsafe on the road such as explosives, mace, firearms, flammables, pets or animals. The only pets allowed in the vehicles are registered Guide Dogs for the visually impaired.

Phone Bookings

All telephone bookings are taken with great attention to make sure it is accurate.

Booking Confirmations

AthensTransfers will confirm the online booking via email if a valid email address is provided within a maximum of 12 hours.

Routes

The driver will take a route to a destination by considering the following facts: the traffic, time, road closures and diversions.

Liabilities

The company accept no liability for severe traffic delays, road closures or extreme and poor weather conditions.
